To my dearest Angie

No, I'm not being horny! Tsk tsk..stop thinking that way! Angie's the name of my test subject- A can of Anglia Shandy!

See, after the trials today, I felt I needed some ice-cold thing to freeze my bloody brain..and since there weren't any cold cans of Shandy, I popped one into the freezer, thinking that "hey, after lunch it'll be just nice and i'll drink you Baby Angie!"

After lunch I fell asleep =(

Poor Angie! Chilled to the bone! But surprisingly when I picked her out from the fridge she was still in liquid form..soft and all..hmm...

After a few seconds in the air, ice started forming on the can! Wow! Compare to a normal cold can:- (left's Angie)

Pretty impressive stuff..and so after a few oohs and aahs I tried opening the can. This is what happened:-

Dammit! When a substance is under high gaseous pressure, like in a canned carbonated drink, it's freezing point is lowered, so THAT'S WHY it was still in liquid form! When I released the gas by opening the can, it was exposed and the air expanded so quickly causing the Tsunami of Shandy. And yes, the entire contents then immediately froze over when it's freezing point returned to normal =( I had to wait for half an hour for it to thaw!

How do I know it froze over? This is what happened:-

Damned Angie was so hard that when I pushed the tab against it, the tab broke =(

After prying the cap open with my dinner fork:-

Ah well, at least I learned something new! I had fun anyway! See, the foam that came out, it was saturated with sugar and wasn't gassy at all since the gas had all escaped! Sweeeeeeeeet~ *drool*
